  1. Pull the hood release lever on the driver’s side under the steering wheel.
  2. Slightly lift the hood.
  3. Locate the hood latch under the center of the hood, and push the latch left.
  4. Pull the hood up.
  5. To hold the hood in place, support it using the support strut. Ensure the strut supports the hood before releasing your grip or starting any work.
