Chevy Cruze: Enable/Disable Auto Door Unlock

Chevy Cruze: Enable/Disable Auto Door Unlock

Posted on July 15, 2019 by Mitch Bartlett 1 Comment

Some models of the Chevy Cruze have a feature where the doors will unlock when the transmitter is within range of the door handle. This feature is called “Keyless Unlock”. You can enable or disable automatic door unlocking on your Chevy Cruze with these steps.

  1. Turn the vehicle completely off.
  2. Press and hold both the “Lock” and “Unlock” buttons on the key fob for about 3 seconds. The turn signals will flash 4 times to indicate that Keyless Unlock is disabled.

If you wish to enable the automatic Keyless Unlock feature, perform these same steps. The turn signals will flash two times to indicate the system is enabled.
