Chevy Cruze: Enable/Disable Auto Door Unlock

Some models of the Chevy Cruze have a feature where the doors will unlock when the transmitter is within range of the door handle. This feature is called “Keyless Unlock”. You can enable or disable automatic door unlocking on your Chevy Cruze with these steps.

2015 – 2023 Models

  1. On your car’s home screen, press Settings.
  2. Choose Vehicle.
  3. Choose Auto Door Unlock.
  4. Select 9 or R to turn the feature on or off. You have the options for all doors, the driver door, or no doors.
  5. Select Z to go to the top of the Auto Door Unlock Menu.

2011 – 2014 Models

    1. On your car’s home screen, press Settings.
    2. Select Vehicle Locator Lights.
    3. Press the Menu knob to select.
    4. Select Auto Door Unlock using the Menu knob.
    5. Use the Menu knob to select All Doors, Driver Door, or Off.
    6. Once you have selected your preference, press the Menu knob to confirm.

If you wish to enable the automatic Keyless Unlock feature, perform these same steps. The turn signals will flash two times to indicate the system is enabled.
