Toyota Camry: Reset Stereo System

You can reset the stereo in your Camry by following the instructions below:

2022 – 2019 Models

1. While the car is on and parked, press the menu button.
2. Click Setup.
3. In this menu, find and click on delete personal data.
4. Click delete.
5. Click yes to confirm the reset. After a moment, your stereo system will be reset to factory settings.

2018 – 2014 Models

1. Turn on the ignition to power the stereo.
2. Press and hold the source button on the top-left corner of the stereo to power it on.
3. Simultaneously press and hold the first preset and the up 🔼 arrow buttons for a few seconds.
4. After a moment, the stereo system will reset.

2013 – 2008 Models

You must contact your local Toyota dealer for this method to request a special code.

1. Turn on the ignition to power the stereo.
2. Press and hold the stereo’s power button.
3. Press and hold the one and the up 🔼 arrow buttons for 10 to 15 seconds.
4. The screen will display four dashes and await input for your code.
5. Use the corresponding preset buttons 1-6 to input the stereo code on the display screen. Afterward, the stereo system will reset and should function normally.

Note: The system gives you three chances to input the stereo code correctly. If you enter the incorrect code three times, the system will lock.
