Chevy Malibu: Connect Phone Via Bluetooth

Connect your phone to the Chevy Malibu stereo and enjoy making phone calls and listening to music from your phone. Just use these steps.

Paired Device

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
  2. Select “Phone” on the stereo, or press  on the steering wheel.
  3. Select “Pair“.
  4. Your phone should list the Malibu as a Bluetooth device. Tap it on the phone to pair.
  5. If prompted for a PIN on the phone, enter “1234“.

No Paired Device

  • Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Select “Phone” on the stereo, or press  on the steering wheel.
  • Select “Menu” > “Bluetooth Devices“.
  • Press “Menu” to choose the device.
  • If prompted for a PIN on the phone, enter “1234“.
  • Select “Add” if the devices did not pair.

    I have a 2012 Malibu and it will connect my Google Pixel to it’s BT but won’t play any of my music. Just let’s me make calls. How can I change this please?

    I connected my bt my 2011 Malibu but I could only make calls how can I hear my music

      I think it’s that you go to your bluetooth and go to the setting of the device your connected to and activate audio

    I have a 2018 Malibu and I can not sync my phone to my car. Also, has anyone had trouble with the charging ports. My car has been to the dealer several times Bc of this same issue.

    I have a 2006 Chevy Malibu and everyone says you can use Bluetooth but I don’t know where to find it. If anyone could tell me anything that would be much appreciated!

    I have a 2015 Chevy Malibu and I always had my phone connected to Bluetooth but just today I noticed it didn’t connect so I tried to go to the phone settings and it tells me not available. Why is this? I’ve never had a problem till now, so what can I do?

    connected my phone Bluetooth to my Chevrolet Malibu 2015 LS but I can’t play music via Bluetooth. I can only receive calls via the Bluetooth

    I have a 2013 Malibu and the Bluetooth connects to my phone call and allows access to calls but I can’t play music through the Bluetooth Audio option it’s grey
