The gas cap is accessed a little differently on the Chevy Cruze than it is on other vehicles. There is no latch inside the vehicle to pop open the gas door. Here’s how to open the fuel door and access the gas cap.

2019 Models

  1. Push and release the back center edge of the fuel door.

2011 – 2018 Models

  1. The fuel door is located on the passenger side of the vehicle.
  2. Push the back center edge in and release.

    nice, now how do you lock fuel door. If it can be opened this way , easily from outside someone can siphon my fuel.
