2007 – 2017 Models
- Pull the hood release LEVER on the lower left side of the dash. (The HOOD RELEASE lever is located below the steering wheel, on the lower inside panel wall to the LEFT).
- Standing in front of the vehicle (the hood will be open a little), use your finger to reach in and pull the SAFETY LEVER located underneath the middle of the Hood, directly to the front for easy access.
- Release SAFETY CATCH.
- When the hood is released from the lever, push the Hood UP.
- Use the Hood PROP (an attached metal pole) located to the far LEFT to keep the Hood UP by lifting it and inserting it in the designated hole area on the inside of the Hood.
You are all SET!
**NOTE: If you are unable to open the Hood on the first try, REPEAT the steps. If you are still unsuccessful, contact the dealership for assistance or consult your vehicle user’s manual.
