2016 – 2022 Models
Soft Reset
- Locate the factory reset pinhole on your multimedia system.
- Use a paper clip or a pen to press on the factory reset pinhole.
- Press and hold it for about 5 seconds.
- The screen will display the Hyundai logo.
- It will take about 10-15 seconds for the full reset.
Factory Reset
- On the Hyundai screen, navigate through and select the Setting option.
- Scroll down and select System Information.
- Click Default.
- The screen will display a prompt message indicating that all the system data will be lost. Click Yes to confirm the factory rest.
- It will take a moment for your stereo system will be reset.
2011 – 2015 Models
Method 1: Factory Reset
- Locate the factory reset pinhole on your multimedia system.
- Use a paper clip or a pen to press on the factory reset pinhole.
Method 2: Use the Fuse Box
- Turn the correct fuse off.
- Wait for at least 10 seconds and turn the fuse on.
- The stereo system will be manually reset.
Method 3: Visiting the Dealer
- As your last option, if the above methods do not work, visit the car dealer to help reset your Hyundai Accent stereo system.
