Dodge Ram: How To Set The Clock

Learn how to set the clock time on your Dodge Ram pickup with these steps.

2020 – 2023 Models

OPTION 1

1. Turn the key to the ON position (DO NOT start the ignition).
2. Press and HOLD the H button located next to the display for the entertainment system to adjust the HOUR.
3. Press and HOLD the M button to adjust the MINUTES.

Once you have selected the desired time, YOU ARE ALL SET!

OPTION 2

1. Turn the key to the ON position (DO NOT start the ignition).
2. Press and HOLD the TIME button to adjust the clock. The time will be ready to set when the hour begins to BLINK.
3. Turn the DIAL on the RIGHT to change the HOUR.
4. Press the DIAL to switch to the MINUTES. Turn the DIAL to change the MINUTES. 
5. Press the DIAL again to finalize your desired time.

OPTION 3

1. Turn the key to the ON position (DO NOT start the ignition).
2. Press and HOLD the SETUP button (located to the right of the display).
3. Press the KNOB/DIAL on the RIGHT side to change the HOUR. 
4. TURN the DIAL to adjust the HOUR. 
5. Press the KNOB/DIAL on the RIGHT side to change the MINUTES. 
6. TURN the DIAL to adjust the MINUTES. 
7. Press the DIAL again to finalize your desired time.

2013 – 2019 Models

Uconnect Touch

1. Press the Clock button.
2. Tap the + or – button next to the hours to adjust the time.
3. Tap the + or – button next to the minutes to adjust the time.

Uconnect Touch Sync with GPS

1. Press the Clock button.
2. Tap the Sync with GPS Time button. A checkmark will appear next to it.

2009 – 2012 Models

Touch Screen

1. Turn on the radio.
2. Touch the time on the screen.
3. Tap User Clock.
4. Use the up and down arrows next to the word Hour to adjust the time.
5. Use the up and down arrows next to the word Min to adjust the time.

No Touch Screen

1. Press and hold the Time button until the hours blink.
2. Turn the tune knob to change the hours.
3. Press the right side Tune knob to move to the minutes.
4. Turn the Tune knob to change the minutes.
5. Press the Tune knob to save the new time.
6. Press any button to exit or wait five seconds.

2008 Models

Manual

1. Press and hold the Time button until the hours blink.
2. Turn the Tune knob to change the hours.
3. Press the right side Tune knob to move to the minutes.
4. Turn the Tune knob to change the minutes.
5. Press the Tune knob to save the new time.
6. Press any button to exit or wait five seconds.

Satellite Radio

1. In the Main Menu, scroll down to Clock Setup and press Enter, or press and hold the Time button for 3 seconds.
2. To set the clock by GPS, change the Displayed Clock to GPS Clock.
3. Press Enter.

2000 – 2007 Models

1. Press and hold the Time button until the hours blink.
2. Turn the Tune knob to change the hours.
3. Press the right side Tune knob to move to the minutes.
4. Turn the Tune knob to change the minutes.
5. Press the Tune knob to save the new time.
6. Press any button to exit or wait five seconds.

Adjusting Time Zones

For vehicles with digital navigation screens: *Turning on the GPS TIME will allow the system to automatically adjust your time dependent on your present location. This feature will change your clock when you cross into a different time zone 

If you are unable to set the Time on the first try, repeat the steps. If you are still unsuccessful, contact the dealership for assistance or consult your vehicle user’s manual.
