Chevy Impala: Adjust the Blinker Click Volume

Chevy Impala: Adjust the Blinker Click Volume

Posted on October 24, 2019 by Rick Groen Leave a Comment

Is the blinker too loud in your Impala and driving you nuts? Or maybe too soft and you keep forgetting it’s flipped on? Well you can change how loud it is! It’s adjusted with the Chime Volume level.

Impala 2006 – 2012 models

First, look to the right of the steering wheel. Here you’ll find four buttons to interact with the display (aka the driver information center). The button images are kinda hard to describe, so I’ve given them special names (see image).

  1. Keep clicking the List button until you see “CHIME VOLUME: PRESS ✔ TO CHANGE”.
  2. Click the Checkmark button once
  3. Now use the List button again to cycle through your choices. You can choose from: Normal, Loud, and No Change
  4. When the setting you want is displayed, click the Checkmark button to choose it.
  5. Click the Road button to return to normal dash display operation!
