Sometimes it’s a new car, or you’re simply running an errand for a friend or loved one. In any instance, the knowledge of your Chevy Spark can come in handy. Here are the simple procedures based on your model to save you the frustration or embarrassment of not knowing how to open your Chevy Spark trunk.
2013 – 2022 Models
- Before locking or unlocking the liftgate, make sure that all of the doors are unlocked.
- Use the liftgate lock key, if your Chevy Spark is equipped with one, or the unlock or lock button on the key fob to unlock the doors.
- Move to the liftgate and pull the handle up.
- As you pull the handle up, lift the liftgate.
2005 – 2012 Models
- Unlock the doors of your Chevy Spark.
- Move to the back and lift the handle.
- Lift the door to open.
Chevy Spark Electric Vehicle: 2014 – 2016 Models
- To unlock the liftgate, press the unlock button on a power door lock switch or press the unlock button twice on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter.
- Move to the back and open the liftgate by pulling the handle up and lifting it.
