GMC Sierra: Reset Stereo System

As if cars weren’t complicated enough, your stereo has frozen up! Here’s a quick guide to fix or reset any IntelliLink sound system.

2012 – 2022 Models

1. On your GMC IntelliLink system, navigate to the Settings menu.
2. Now select Return to Factory Settings.
3. Then select Restore Vehicle Settings.
4. A message will pop up and ask if you’d like to continue. Select Continue.
5. Your system will reset to factory settings, and all your personal settings and data will be erased.
