Mercedes-Benz C250: Reset Stereo System

Cars rely a lot on computers now. Unfortunately, your car computer can get messed up every once in a while. Here are a couple of ways to reset your infotainment system if it is having trouble.

2012 – 2022 Models

Factory Reset

Note: This is going to do a Factory Reset. You will lose ALL the data you have saved on your vehicle.

1. Select System using the dial on the center console.
2. Scroll down to Reset.
3. Press the dial to select.
4. Your car will ask you to confirm the action. Scroll over to Yes and press the dial.

Black Screen

1. Turn the key to the On position.
2. Press and hold the eject button for about 10 seconds.
3. Release the button and press the On button for the infotainment system.
4. The screen should turn on without any problem.
