Stereo systems are a standard feature in all cars now. Sometimes the systems develop problems and need to be reset. Below are directions for resetting the stereo system of a Chrysler 200 and 300.

300 Models
2020 – 2023 Models
Fuses
- Open the hood to locate the fuse box in the engine compartment.
- Open the fuse box by pressing the tabs on either side of the lid and pulling up.
- Check fuse F37.
- If the fuses are burnt, replace them with new ones.
Hard Reset
- Open the hood of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable from the terminal with a socket wrench. Make sure the cable does not touch the battery or terminal.
- Disconnect the positive battery cable. Make sure the cable does not touch the battery or terminal.
- Let the car sit for 3-5 minutes.
- Reconnect the cables to the battery again.
2011 – 2019 Models
Fuses
- Open the hood to locate the fuse box in the engine compartment.

- Check fuse F37.

UConnect
- Simultaneously press and hold the “UConnect” and “Voice Recognition” buttons for 15 seconds.
Hard Reset
- Open the hood of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable from the terminal with a socket wrench. Make sure the cable does not touch the battery or terminal.
- Disconnect the positive battery cable. Make sure the cable does not touch the battery or terminal.
- Let the car sit for 3-5 minutes.
- Reconnect the cables to the battery again.

- Open the trunk to locate the fuse box in the trunk floor.
- Open the fuse box by pressing the tabs on either side of the lid and pulling up.
- Check fuse 36.
- If the fuses are burnt, replace them with new ones.
200 Models
2015 – 2017 Models
Fuses
- Open the hood to locate the fuse box in the engine compartment.
- Open the fuse box by pressing the tabs on either side of the lid and pulling up.
- Check fuse F80.
- If the fuses are burnt, replace them with new ones.

- If the fuses are burnt, replace them with new ones.
