Anyone who owns or drives a car uses the trunk. However, truck owners/drivers probably use the trunk more than other car drivers. Below are the steps to opening the tailgate of a Toyota Tacoma.

1995 – 2022 Models

1. Walk to the back of the vehicle.
2. Find the latch in the center of the tailgate.
3. Put your fingers, palm up, under the latch.
4. Pull on the latch. The trunk will open slightly.
5. Lower the tailgate the rest of the way.
