Anyone who owns or drives a car uses the trunk. However, truck owners/drivers probably use the trunk more than other car drivers. Below are the steps to opening the tailgate of a Toyota Tacoma.

1995 – 2022 Models
- Walk to the back of the vehicle.
- Find the latch in the center of the tailgate.
- Put your fingers, palm up, under the latch.
- Pull on the latch. The trunk will open slightly.
- Lower the tailgate the rest of the way.
