  1. After changing the 12 volt battery in my 2011 Prius, and following the reset procedure (which is incredibly simple), I have no radio. The cd player works fine, so it isn’t a power to the unit issue. Radio is just static, on both AM and FM bands. It looks like the antenna has wiring in the area of the 12 volt battery but nothing was disconnected in order to replace the 12 volt battery. The small gauge wiring connection mounts to the hold-down for the battery. It doesn’t really look like a fuse holder but it must serve some function. The battery was actually changed 4 or more years ago, and the radio hasn’t worked since. Every now and then it would be nice to have a radio. I’ve been playing cd’s only ever since the battery change-out!
Anyone out there got any advice? I had the dealer look at it and the really young “tech” said it worked fine! Maybe he had ear buds in……………………….it’s been really frustrating!
