2008 – 2022 Models
- Without turning on the engine, press the car engine button twice.
- On the multimedia system, press the Apps button while simultaneously turning the headlights on and off three times. The display on the screen should change.
- Hold the INIT button on the screen for at least two seconds.
- Press “yes” on the small pop-up that says your personal data is initialized.
- Turn off the car, then start the engine. Your stereo should now be reset to factory settings.
2001 – 2007 Models
- Turn on the car, but be careful not to start the engine.
- Turn off the radio.
- Hold down the radio’s power button for several seconds until the radio resets.
*If step 3 above doesn’t work, try holding down the power and seek buttons simultaneously for several seconds until reset.
