2017 – 2022 Models Using an iPhone
- Make sure your iPhone’s Bluetooth is turned on.
- Start your Toyota EntuneTM system and navigate to Apps.
- On your touchscreen, choose Setup.
- Select Bluetooth, and then Add New Device.
- Locate your iPhone on the EntuneTM interface and click Add.
- Allow your Toyota and iPhone to discover and connect. Then, to finish the pairing, click Accept Connection.
- Your Toyota will indicate that you are linked to your phone and the EntuneTM system.
2017 – 2022 Models Using an Android
- Make sure your iPhone’s Bluetooth is turned on.
- Start your Toyota EntuneTM system and navigate to Apps.
- On your touchscreen, choose Setup.
- Select Bluetooth, followed by Add New Device. Simultaneously, on your Android phone, press the “Scan For Devices” button.
- Allow your Toyota and Android to discover and connect. Then, to finish the pairing, click Accept Connection. When your Toyota system shows, make sure you also click Accept on your Android screen.
- Your Toyota will indicate that you are linked to your phone and the EntuneTM system.
Pairing Instructions for the Toyota Highlander 2013 – 2016
On the car screen:
- Click the Home button.
- Choose Setup (found in the upper right corner of the display screen).
- Choose Bluetooth.
- Select Add.
On a smartphone:
- Choose Settings
- Bluetooth option.
- Switch the Bluetooth toggle to the On position.
- Choose the Highlander system from the device list.
- Input the PIN shown on the Highlander’s Entune system.
- Choose Pair/OK option.

Why won’t my phone connect to my Toyota?
The Bluetooth setting may not be available in every car. To test this function, navigate to Menu > Setup > Bluetooth > Detailed Settings > and ensure the Bluetooth power is switched on.
