Ensure that your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) gives you an accurate reading on your Tesla Model 3 in the following two ways.

2017 – 2022 Models
- Ensure your tires are inflated to the correct pressure.
- Turn your vehicle on.
- On the touchscreen, press Controls.
- Press Settings.
- Press Service & Reset.
- Press Tire Pressure Monitor.
- Reset according to your wheel size.
- Press and hold either of the scroll wheels on either side of the steering wheel.
- Select Car Status to see a TPMS overview.
- Leave your car stationary for at least 20 minutes.
- Drive your car at a speed of over 25 mph. Auto-learn will begin, and the correct tire pressure will be displayed.
General Reset
- Ensure your tires are inflated to the correct pressure.
- Press the two scroll wheels simultaneously on either side of your steering wheel.
- Your touchscreen will go blank.
- Release the scroll wheels.
- The Tesla logo will appear on your touchscreen after a few seconds.
- Navigate to view your Tire Pressure Monitor (Steps 1-6 above).
- If you are not certain that the readings are correct, drive around at a low speed to allow the sensors to register the tire pressures.
