Subaru Forester: Connect a Phone

Today, connecting a phone to your vehicle is more of a necessity than it is a luxury. Subaru’s continued commitment to innovation has created a better way to stay safe behind the wheels through its Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity system.

With this, you’ll be able to access your contacts, music, Google maps, and more. If you don’t know how to pair your phone to your Subaru Forester, below are guides to help you. Ensure to park your vehicle safely before you start the pairing process.

  1. Go to your phone settings, navigate to the Bluetooth option, and turn it on.

  4. From your phone’s paired devices list, select the name “Subaru.”
  5. Then a pin code will be displayed on your phone and the infotainment screen. If the numbers match, click “Pair” on your mobile device.
  6. You can click on the “Yes” option if you wish to sync your contacts to your Subaru.

  5. Search for available Bluetooth devices on your phone, and select the hands-free audio device.
  6. Next, compare the code displayed on the navigation screen and your phone, and click “Pair” if they match.
