2016-2021 Models
- Turn the ignition on, but do not start the engine.
- Use the “Up” and “Down” arrow buttons on the steering wheel to toggle the selection to “Maintenance“.
- Press the “OK” button on the steering wheel to go into the “Maintenance” menu.
- Use the “Up” and “Down” arrows to toggle the selection to “Oil and Filter“.
- Press the “OK” button on the steering wheel to go into the “Oil and Filter” menu.
- Use the “Up” and “Down” arrows to toggle the selection to “Reset“.
- Press the “OK” button to choose “Reset“.
- Use the “Down” arrow to highlight “Yes“.
- Press the “OK” button, and the “Oil and Filter” light will be reset.
2014-2015 Models
- Turn the ignition on, but do not start the engine.
- Repeatedly press the
button to toggle to the “Setting” screen.
- Use the
button to toggle the selection to “Maintenance“, then press the
button to enter that screen.

to toggle the selection to “Engine Oil“, then press the
button to enter that screen.
- From the “Engine Oil” screen, use the

2009-2013 Models
- Turn the ignition on, but do not start the engine.
- Repeatedly press the right stem button on the instrument panel until it toggles to “Settings“.
- Once on the “Settings” option, push and hold the right stem button. A menu will appear.
- Twist the stem button to highlight “Maintenance”, then push the button to select it.
- Twist the stem button to highlight “Service“, then push the button to select it.
- Twist the stem button to highlight “Reset“, then push the button to select it.

Every time I check the oil life on my 2014 Rogue it always says 0 / 5000. It doesn’t matter if I reset or drive 1,000 miles, it always says 0 / 5000. Any fix for this?
