Range Rover: How to Set the Clock and Date

Resetting the digital clock in the Range Rover is required after a battery change or (for some models) if you travel to a different time zone. Here are the simple steps to follow to reset the clock and date.

2001 – 2023 Models

Set Time Via TouchScreen Console

1. Put the vehicle in the ON position for some models.
2. Power ON the console by pressing IN the power button.
3. Via the center digital console, touch SETUP, SYSTEM, then CLOCK ADJUST.
4. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to adjust the time, then press SET.

*The new time will appear within the console as well as in the dashboard*

Set Date Via TouchScreen Console

1. With the vehicle in the ON position or by powering ON the center console, touch SETUP.
2. Select SYSTEM, then CLOCK ADJUST.
3. Select DATE, then use the UP and DOWN arrows to adjust the date.
4. Press SET.
5. The new date will appear within the console as well as in the dashboard.

Set Time Manually

1. Put the vehicle in the ON position.
2. Press MENU.
3. Press the dial next to the menu to select CLOCK.
4. Use the dial to adjust the HOUR.
5. Press it to adjust the MINUTES.
6. Press it to SET.

1994 – 2000 Models

Time

1. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
2. Locate the buttons labeled “Clock,” “Time,” or “Set.” Press and hold the appropriate button until the clock display starts flashing.
3. Use the clock adjustment buttons or knobs to set the desired hour and minute. Pay attention to any AM/PM indicators if your clock uses a 12-hour format.
4. Press the “Clock,” “Time,” or “Set” button again to confirm the time setting.

Date

1. Locate buttons labeled “Date” or “Calendar.” Press and hold the appropriate button until the date display starts flashing.
2. Use the date adjustment buttons or knobs to set the correct day, month, and year.
3. Press the “Date” or “Calendar” button again to confirm the date setting.
4. Exit the clock and date adjustment mode by pressing the “Exit” or “Done.”

**If you are unable to set the time or date on the Ranger Rover clock on the first try, repeat the steps. If you are still unsuccessful, contact the dealership for assistance or consult your vehicle user’s manual.
