Range Rover: Open Fuel Door

Range Rover: Open Fuel Door

Posted on September 20, 2019 by Mitch Bartlett Leave a Comment

I recently rented a Range Rover SUV while on vacation. When I went to refuel at a gas station, I couldn’t locate the fuel release button or lever in the cab of the vehicle. Where oh where could it be?

Well, it turns out, there is no button or lever to open the fuel door on the Range Rover. You simply follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the doors are unlocked.
  2. Exit the vehicle and locate the fuel door on the rear passenger side.
  3. Push the the fuel door in by putting pressure on the rear side of the door. It will spring open allowing access to the gas cap.
