Here is the step-by-step procedure on how you can reset your stereo system:
2019- 2022 Models
- Turn ON the ignition of your car to power the accessories.
- Ensure the UConnect screen lights up, then press the Apps button.
- Use the right ▶️ arrow to navigate to the next screen.
- Select the settings
- From the list generated, scroll down to locate Restore Settings
- Press the OK button to complete the reset of your radio.
2009- 2018 Model
- Press the tuner knob and the volume button simultaneously
- Press the button for 10 to 20 seconds until the touch screen displays your vehicle’s brand.
- After a moment, the screen display will go dark.
- The screen display will also display light after a moment, followed by your car’s brand name.
- At this point, your stereo system will reset, and you can access the radio features.
