Ram Pickup: How To Open Trunk

Every car owner has a routine that involves loading items into their automobile. The safest procedures for opening and shutting the trunk of your Ram Pickup are shown below.

2019 – 2022 Models

There are three ways to open your Ram Pickup tailgate.

1. Unlock your truck.
2. On your key fob, click the button with the icon of an opened trunk two times. Doing so will automatically drop the liftgate.

OR

1. Unlock your truck.
2. Inside the cab, above the rearview mirror, is a cluster of buttons. Locate the button with the icon of an opened trunk.
3. Click this button to drop the liftgate automatically.

OR

1. Unlock your truck.
2. Standing at the rear of your Ram, locate the handle at the center of the liftgate.
3. Lift the handle, then you can let go, and the liftgate will drop on its own.

2010 – 2018 Models

1. Standing at the rear of your Ram, locate the handle at the center of the liftgate.
2. Lift the handle; then, you can guide the liftgate to its final resting position.
