Accessing your trunk may be challenging if you can’t locate your car keys or your electronic key fob isn’t functioning. Thankfully, you can use a few methods to open the trunk of your Nissan Sentra. Just remember that before you even think about opening the trunk, you’ll need to make sure it’s unlocked!
2010 – 2023 Models
There are three ways to open the trunk of your car,
- Push the trunk release switch located below the instrument panel on the left-hand side.
- If so equipped, press the trunk button on the key fob for about three seconds.
- Push the request switch above the license plate.
- Lift the lid to open the trunk, or the trunk will open on its own.
2000 – 2009 Models
- Push the trunk button on the multi-remote controller for longer than 0.5 seconds.
- The trunk lid will open.
Additional Information
The light illuminates when the trunk lid is opened. When the trunk lid is closed, the light goes off. And if you’re wondering how much luggage you can fit in the back of your Nissan Sentra, remember that it has 14.3 ft³ of trunk space.
