Nissan Quest: Reset Stereo System

When you do maintenance on your car or the battery dies, your stereo system can get messed up. Resetting your stereo system should fix just about any problem.

2009 – 2022 Models

Infotainment Center

1. Enter your car, put the key in the ignition, and turn it to the Accessory position.
2. Press and hold the audio power button. Hold the button for about 10 seconds.
3. Release the button when the Nissan logo appears.

1993 – 2008 Models

System Coded

1. Contact Nissan Customer Service directly to get your vehicle’s four-digit code. Do NOT call the dealership.
   • You can also find the code on a cardboard or plastic card in your owner’s manual.
2. Once you have the code, enter your car and turn the key to the Accessory position.
3. You will need to use the number buttons on the bottom of the radio to enter the code.
   • To enter the first digit of the code, press the number 1 button until you get the digit you need.
   • Continue the process with the number 2-4 number buttons.
4. Once you enter the code, your radio will work correctly.
