2009 – 2023 Models (With Power Liftgate)

1. Shift the vehicle into park.
2. Ensure the main power liftgate switch on the instrument panel is switched on.
3. Press the liftgate button located in one of the following areas:
   • The vehicle’s intelligent key. It is the second button from the bottom. (Press for one second or more)
   • The vehicle’s instrument panel. It has a liftgate icon on it.
   • On the vehicle’s liftgate, located just under the handle.
4. The tailgate will make a chime to indicate the opening sequence has begun. (Pressing any of the buttons once as it is moving stops the power gate from opening further.)

1. Shift the vehicle into park.

3. Proceed to the back of the vehicle and pull on the trunk from the handle. (Pulling on the trunk with the car’s keys in the vicinity automatically unlocks the car’s trunk.)
4. To close, pull the open trunk downward and gently shut it.
