Nissan Maxima: How to Set Clock

Keeping track of time in your car is essential to keep you on time for appointments and other events. Follow the steps below to set the clock in your Nissan Maxima.

2016 – 2023 Models

1. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
2. Locate the “Settings” button on the touchscreen display and press it.
3. Select “Clock” from the list of options.
4. Use the “+” and “-” buttons on the touchscreen to adjust the hours and minutes, respectively.
5. Press “OK” or “Done” to save the new time setting.

2009 – 2015 Models

1. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
2. Press the “Settings” button located on the audio system control panel.
3. Use the Multi-Function Controller to highlight the “Clock” option and press “Enter.”
4. The hours will flash; use the Multi-Function Controller to set the hours.
5. Press “Enter” to select the minutes.
6. Use the Multi-Function Controller to set the minutes.
7. Press “Enter” to exit and save the new time setting.

1994 – 2008 Models

1. Locate the “Clock” button on the audio system panel.
2. Press and hold the clock button until the hour digits start flashing.
3. Use the tune/seek button to set the hour.
4. Press the “Clock” button again to select the minute digits.
5. Use the tune/seek button to set the minute.
6. Press the “Clock” button again to exit and save the new time setting.
