The oil life does not automatically reset when you do an oil change in your vehicle. You have to reset it manually. This post will show you how to reset the oil life on a Nissan Armada.

2016 – 2022 Models
You can reset the oil life of these models in two ways.
Method 1
- Press the Start/Stop Engine button twice. Don’t press the brake pedal.
- Press the square symbol button on the instrument panel repeatedly to go to the Settings menu.
- Press the small circle symbol button to scroll to the Maintenance menu.
- Under the Maintenance menu, select Oil.
- Use the small circle symbol button to scroll to Reset.
- Press the square symbol button to select Reset.
- Hit the small circle symbol button to reset oil life.
- Press the square symbol button to confirm.
Method 2
- Put the ignition to the ON/RUN position.
- Press the steering wheel’s left/right arrow buttons to scroll to Settings on the dashboard.
- Hit the down/up arrow buttons to scroll to the Maintenance menu.
- Under Maintenance, scroll to Oil.
- Press OK to select Oil.
- Scroll to Reset.
- Press OK to select Reset.
- Select Yes when a prompt appears.
2008 – 2015 Models
You can reset the oil life of these models in two ways.
Method 1
- Place the ignition in the RUN/ON position.
- Press the Trip button repeatedly until you see the Maintenance screen on your dashboard.
- Use the joystick to scroll to the Engine Oil menu.
- Press Enter to select the Engine Oil menu.
- Scroll to Reset.
- Press Enter to reset the oil life.
Method 2
- Turn on the ignition. However, don’t start the engine.
- Press Info on the instrument panel.
- Use the navigation button to scroll to Maintenance.
- Press Enter to select the Maintenance menu.
- Scroll to the Engine Oil menu.
- Press Enter to select the menu.
- Scroll to Reset distance.
- Press Enter to reset oil life.
