These days, making and receiving phone calls hands-free when driving is easy. All you have to do is connect your phone to your car. Follow the steps outlined in this article to connect your phone to a Mitsubishi Outlander.

2022-2023 Model
- Turn your car on and put it in PARK mode.
- On the touchscreen, touch the Home screen button, then the Connectivity icon.
- A connectivity menu will appear; click on Add New. A message will pop up telling you to look for the car’s name on your phone. The car will be waiting for the phone to initiate pairing.
- Go to Settings, then Bluetooth, and turn it on, along with the WiFi, on your phone.
- It will start searching for new devices. After it’s done, you will see the name Mitsubishi Motors. Touch on it to Start pairing.
- A PIN will pop up on the cars and phones screen. Please make sure they match and press PAIR on your phone.
- Touch the ALLOW button on your phone to sync everything with your car.
- Your car will ask you to allow car play. On your phone, click Use car play on the pop-up message.
- A pop-up message on the car screen will appear asking you if you want to use car play. Touch YES, and you are now connected.
2018-2021 Model
- Turn the Bluetooth of your phone on.
- Turn on your car.
- Touch the Home screen button and then the phone button.
- You will see that no Bluetooth device has been connected. The car will ask you if you want to connect to a nearby device. Press YES.
- The car will then ask if you want to pair a new device; press OK.
- On your phone, you will see the name Mitsubishi Motors. Click on it.
- A PIN will appear on the car and phone; if they match, click pair on your phone.
- The car will ask you to sync your phone to your vehicle; click ALLOW on your phone. You are now connected.
2015- 2017 Model
- Go to the Settings of your phone and turn on the Bluetooth.
- On the screen of your car, press the Info button.
- A drop-down menu will appear, and you will see ‘Mobile phone.’ Click on it.
- On the screen, click the down arrow to go to another drop-down menu. Click on Pairing, and then Pair the device.
- On your phone, click on ‘Hands-free system.’
- Enter the PIN on the vehicle’s screen, and click Pair.
- Click the Allow button on your phone to give the car access to your contacts.
- You will see on the screen of the car that you are connected.
