The C250s were discontinued in 2015 and were only made during the years 2012 through 2015.
2012 – 2015 Models
Manual Method
- Turn off the engine.
- Pull the trunk release lever until you hear the trunk pop open. The lever is on the bottom left side of the driver’s side and has the image of a car with an open trunk printed on top.
Using The Smart Key
- Ensure the engine is off.
- Press the button with the image of a vehicle with an open trunk on your smart key.
- The trunk will pop open.
Hands-Free Method
Suppose you are holding stuff in both hands and need to open the trunk to store them. You can pop the trunk with a few kicking movements under the bumper. Sensors underneath the vehicle sense your foot movement and direct the trunk to open.
- Ensure your engine is off.
- Approach your vehicle’s trunk with the smart key in your pocket.
- Stand one foot away from your vehicle and make a kicking movement under your vehicle’s bumper.
- The vehicle will chime to notify you that the trunk is opening.
