Mercedes-Benz C250: Connect a Phone

The Mercedes-Benz C250 is the smallest and most affordable sedan that the company has ever produced. Made between 2012 and 2015, this car has Bluetooth capabilities that allow drivers to connect their phones to their vehicle, giving them complete hands-free advantages. If you own any of these cars, here is how to get started:

2014 – 2015 Models

  1. Go to the settings menu on your phone and turn on the Bluetooth capabilities.
  2. Turn on your car and select the “Tel” key located on the radio.
  3. On the car’s center stack screen, select “Connect Dev.”
  4. Select “Connect via Phone” or “Search for Phone” on your mobile device.
  5. Press “Start.”
  6. On your mobile phone, click “Search for Devices,” then scroll down to where the name of your car’s Bluetooth device is and select it.
  7. If a passcode pops up on your phone and your car’s display, confirm the codes match, then click “Pair.” If the passcodes do not appear, simply select “Pair” on your mobile phone.
  8. Your connection is now complete.

2012 – 2013 Models

  1. Go to the settings menu on your phone and turn on the Bluetooth capabilities.
  2. On your car’s infotainment system, select the “Phone” icon, then open “Device Manager.”
  3. A prompt to connect a new device will appear on your car’s screen; select “Start System Search” to find your phone’s Bluetooth.
  4. On your phone, scan for devices to find the name of your car’s Bluetooth. Once you find it, select “Pair.”
  5. A passcode will appear on your phone, and infotainment displays. Confirm that they match, then select “Pair.”
