Owning a car comes with a few chores. One of the chores is filling up the car with fuel. If the tank is empty, you won’t go anywhere. Below are the steps for opening the fuel door on a Mazda 6.
2002 – 2022 Models
- Lift the fuel door release switch. The switch is located on the lower part of the dash, under the trunk release button and next to the hood release button.
- Exit the vehicle and walk around to the side with the fuel door.
- Pull the fuel door openthe rest of the way.
