Mazda 3: Reset Stereo System

You may suddenly notice that your Mazda 3’s sound system is bugging out. To solve this problem, you need to restart the system so that you can listen to your music again. Try these simple steps for a quick solution.

2019 – 2022 Models

From the home screen of your Mazda 3 stereo system:

1. Select the Settings option.
2. Select the System tab.
3. Select the Reset to Factory Settings. Selecting this option will reset the stereo system to factory settings.
4. Finally, select Yes to confirm that you want to reset your Mazda 3’s stereo system.

2013 – 2018 Models

1. Power on your vehicle.
2. Turn off the stereo system by pressing the power button.
3. Press and hold the power button for several seconds. This should soft reset your stereo system.
