2019 – 2022 Models
- Unlock the driver’s door to unlock the fuel door.
- Locate the fuel lid above the driver’s side back tire, then press the upper right ▶ area of the fuel door. This will open the fuel door.
- Detach the fuel cap by turning it counterclockwise.
- Place the detached fuel cap in the holster located on the inside of the fuel door.
- Insert the refueling nozzle and refuel.
- Then, reinsert the fuel cap and turn it clockwise until it clicks.
- Close the fuel door and press until it clicks.
- Make sure to lock the car doors after the fuel door is closed to relock the fuel door.
2014 – 2018 Models
- Locate the remote fuel door release found to the lower left of the steering wheel.
- Pull the remote fuel door release out towards you to open the fuel door.
- Locate the open fuel lid above the driver’s side back tire, then detach the fuel cap by turning it counterclockwise.
- Place the detached fuel cap in the holster on the inner side of the fuel door.
- Insert the refueling nozzle and refuel.
- Reinsert the fuel cap, then turn it clockwise until it clicks.
- Close the fuel door and press it until it is securely locked.
2004 – 2013 Models
- Find the remote fuel door release lever located below the driver’s door.
- On 5-door models, pull the remote fuel door release lever up to open the fuel door. On 4-door models, pull the remote fuel door release lever back to open the fuel door.
- Locate the open fuel lid above the passenger’s side back tire, then detach the fuel cap by turning it counterclockwise.
- Hook the thread to attach the detached fuel cap to the clip located on the lower left on the inner side of the fuel door.
- Insert the refueling nozzle and refuel.
- Reinsert the fuel cap, then turn it clockwise until it clicks.
- Close the fuel door and press it until it is securely locked.
