Kia Soul: How To Open Trunk

All drivers will want to access the trunk of their vehicle at some point. Usually, cars have more than one way to open the trunk. Here are all the ways you can open the trunk of your Kia Soul.

2010 – 2022 Models

Button on the Trunk

1. Locate the depression in the bumper of your car while standing at the back of the vehicle.
2. Reach into the depression with your hand.
3. Press the button in the depression and lift the trunk open.

Fob for Manual Trunk

1. Hold the trunk button on the fob for more than one second. This unlocks the trunk.
2. Reach into the depression with your hand.
3. Press the button on the bottom of the trunk door and lift the trunk open.

Fob for Power Trunk

1. Press and hold the trunk button on the fob.
2. The trunk will automatically lift.

Inside the Car

1. Locate the row of buttons to the left of the steering wheel.
2. The middle button should have a picture of a car with an open trunk. Press the button. This will unlock the trunk.
3. If you have a power trunk, the door should lift open when you press the button.
