Kia Soul: Connect a Phone

Observing road safety while driving is mandatory. It helps keep you and other road users safe from accidents and incidences. Among other things, minimizing phone usage is one of the best ways to ensure driving safety. When you connect your phone to your Kia Soul, you can eliminate the need to touch your phone to use it. Here are the steps to connect your phone to your car.

2021 – 2022 Models

  1. Turn on the Bluetooth setting on your phone.
  2. On your infotainment system, select “Setup,” then “Bluetooth.”
  3. Hit “Bluetooth Connection,” then “Add a New Device.
  4. On your mobile phone, under the “Other Devices” section (usually near the bottom), tap on “KIA MOTORS.”
  5. Passcodes will appear on your phone and your infotainment display. Confirm that the keys match, then click “Pair.”
  6. Allow your contacts to pair to give your vehicle full access to your phone.

2017 – 2020 Models

  1. On the right side of your car’s infotainment system, locate and select the “Phone” button.
  2. Locate and turn on the Bluetooth setting on your phone.
  3. Under the “Other Devices” section of your phone’s Bluetooth menu, locate and tap “KIA MOTORS.”
  4. Confirm that the codes that display on your phone are the same ones that appear on your infotainment display.
  5. If they match, click “Pair.”

2014 – 2016 Models

  1. Press the “Settings” icon on your car’s main screen on the center stack.
  2. Select “Bluetooth” and move its switch to the on position.
  3. Turn your Phone’s Bluetooth on, then search for available devices.
  4. Locate your car’s Bluetooth device on the bottom-most option available on your phone’s Bluetooth scan results.
  5. Confirm that the pin code that appears on your mobile phone matches the one that appears on your car’s display system. If they do, press “Pair.”

2011 – 2013 Models

  1. Hit the “Setup” button on your vehicle’s center stack display.
  2. Turn the knob(also available on the right side of your car’s display system) to find the “Phone” option.
  3. Push the knobto select the “Phone Option,” then select “Pair.”
  4. Push the knobin again to reveal the passcode.
  5. Turn your Phone’s Bluetooth on, then search for available devices.
  6. Select “KIA MOTORS” and key in the codes displayed in your car.
  7. Select “Pair.”
