2019 – 2023 Models

  1. On your phone, open your Settings, and turn the Bluetooth on.
  2. Turn your car on.
  3. On your car touchscreen, touch the Settings button.
  4. Select the Bluetooth function to display a drop-down menu.
  5. Select Bluetooth connection to turn the car’s Bluetooth on.
  6. Click Add New to make your car discoverable on your phone.
  7. On your phone, you will see the name Kia Motors. Click on it to connect your phone and car.
  8. A numerical code will appear on the phone. Ensure the code matches that on the car’s screen and press OK.
  9. The car will indicate that the phone has been connected and your contacts have been downloaded to the vehicle.

2015 – 2018 Models

  1. Turn your car on.
  2. Press the phone button on the radio display.
  3. The car will tell you there is no paired phone and ask if you want to pair one. Click Yes. This will take you to a pop-up screen with the device name and passcode.
  4. Turn the Bluetooth of your phone on.
  5. You will see the name Kia Motors appear under available devices; select it.
  6. Your phone will ask you if you want to pair the phone with the car. Click on Pair.
  7. When finished, your car will tell you your phone has been paired. Press OK.

  4. Rotate the big button marked Enter to scroll to Phone.
  5. Press Enter.
  6. Select Pair by pressing Enter. A numerical code will display.
  7. On your phone’s Bluetooth display, you will see the name Forte. Select it to Pair.
  8. When prompted, enter the numerical code displayed on the car’s screen. Click Pair.
  9. Your car will tell you that the pairing is completed.

2008 – 2011 Models

  1. Turn your car on.
  2. On your phone, open your Settings, and turn the Bluetooth on.
  3. Press the Info button on the radio display.
  4. Rotate the big button marked Enter to scroll to Phone.
  5. Press Enter.
  6. Select Pair.
  7. The Device Name and  Pass Key will be displayed. It should be Forte and 0000.
  8. On your phone’s Bluetooth display, you will see the name Forte. Select it to Pair.
  9. When prompted, enter the numerical code displayed on the car’s screen. Click Pair.
  10. Your car will tell you that the pairing is completed.
