2019 – 2022 Models

There are two ways to open the trunk on the 2019-2022 models.

Key Fob Method

1. Approach the trunk of your car.
2. Press the liftgate release button on your key fob twice.
3. The trunk door will open.

Hands-Free Method

1. Approach the trunk of your vehicle with your smart key in your pocket.
2. Stand within 20 inches from the car.
3. Make a slow kicking motion under the rear bumper.
4. The tailgate hazard light will flash, and the trunk door will open within one to three seconds.

2014 – 2018 Models

There are three ways to unlock the trunk in the 2014-2018 models.

Key Fob Method

1. Approach the rear of your vehicle.
2. Stand within 5 ft from the vehicle and press the trunk release button on the key fob twice.
3. The trunk door will open.

Manual Method

1. Locate the electronic liftgate release button at the back of your vehicle.
2. Press the button once to open the liftgate.

Overhead Console Button Method

1. Locate the electronic liftgate release button on the front overhead console.
2. Press the button once.
3. The trunk door will open.

2008 – 2013 Models

1. Approach your vehicle’s trunk.
2. Press the trunk release button on your key fob twice.
3. The trunk door will open.
