Using hands-free features while driving is the law in many states. But trying to connect your phone is not always super easy. Follow along to learn how to connect your phone to your Jeep Compass.
2020 – 2022 Model
- Ensure your car is in Park with your car either On or Run.
- Navigate to your phone settings and turn on Bluetooth.
- On your Jeep Compass Uconnect screen, press the phone button.
- Select Add Device.
- Select Settings. Now when your mobile device initiates a Bluetooth scan, it will locate your car.
- Initiate a Bluetooth scan on your phone, and select Jeep Compass from available devices. Your Uconnect screen may display a one-time PIN for you to input into your phone to confirm the pairing.
- You may need to input your PIN, or the two will link automatically.
2016 – 2019 Models
- Ensure your car is in Park with your car either On or Run.
- Navigate to your phone settings and turn on Bluetooth.
- On the Uconnect touchscreen, press Phone.
- Your Uconnect system will ask if you’d like to pair a phone.
- Select Yes. The system will look for available Bluetooth connections.
- Initiate a Bluetooth scan on your phone and choose UCONNECT from the list of available devices.
- Approve the connection request.
- When prompted, confirm that the PIN on your phone matches the PIN on the Uconnect screen. Select Yes on the Uconnect touchscreen.
- Choose Pair.
