Jeep Commander: How To Open Trunk

Opening the trunk is something that shouldn’t take much thought. However, each car brand does things a little differently. Thankfully, the steps to opening a Jeep Commander trunk are below.

2007 – 2010 Models

Keyfob

1. Press the Open Trunk button 2x.

Outside Vehicle (Trunk)

1. Pull/Squeeze the handle on the trunk just above the license plate.
2. Lift the trunk open.

Outside Vehicle (Flipper Glass)

1. Push the window button on the trunk next to the license plate.
2. Lift the glass open.

Commander with Power Lift

Keyfob

1. Press the Open Trunk button 2x.
2. The trunk will lift open on its own.

Outside Vehicle (Trunk)

1. Pull/Squeeze the handle on the trunk just above the license plate.
2. The trunk will lift open on its own.

2006 Models

Keyfob

1. Press the Open Trunk button 2x.

Outside Vehicle (Trunk)

1. Pull/Squeeze the handle on the trunk just above the license plate.
2. Lift the trunk open.
