The ability to connect your phone to your car has become a standard feature in vehicles. The radio is no longer the only form of entertainment when driving. People connect their phones so they can listen to music and podcasts or even make phone calls.
Below are the directions for connecting a phone to the Jeep Commander.

2006 – 2010 Models
- Press the Phone button. The car system will say “Ready.”
- Say “Setup Phone Pairing.”
- When prompted, say, “Pair a Phone.”
- The car will request you to say a four-digit PIN. Say the PIN.
- Open the Settings app on your phone.
- Tap Bluetooth.
- Tap the option for your vehicle.
- Enter the PIN when prompted.
- The car system will request you name your phone. Say a “name” for your phone.
- Then the car system will ask you to assign your phone a priority level. The number 1 is the highest, and 7 is the lowest.
- Assign your phone a priority-level number.
