2005 – 2022 Models
You can reset the stereo system of the Hyundai Tucson in two ways: using the factory reset button and turning the fuse off and on.
Using the Factory Reset Button
- Turn on the ignition. Don’t start the engine.
- Turn on the stereo system.
- Locate the factory reset button. It is a tiny pinhole, usually on any of the four corners of the stereo system.
- Use a sharp object to press the button until the stereo system turns off. The object can be a paperclip, pin, or ballpoint pen.
- The screen turns on after a few seconds and displays the Hyundai logo.
- Your stereo is reset, and everything should work normally.
Turn the Fuse Off and On
- Turn on the ignition but keep the engine off.
- Turn on the stereo system.
- Pull the fuse box cover on the left lower side of the instrument panel to reveal the fuse.
- Use a sharp object to turn off the fuse.
- Wait for a few seconds, then turn on the fuse.
- That process should reset your stereo.
