Follow the steps below:
- Locate the hood release lever on the driver’s foot rest area close to the bottom edge of the door.
- Pull the lever upwards.
- The hood will open slightly.
- Place your hand underneath the hood directly above the Hyundai logo to locate the safety lever.
- Pull the lever upwards.
- Raise the hood to open.
