You might have tried switching your radio, but no sound is coming out. Maybe you just got your vehicle and found that the dealer put on a bunch of apps and random presents that don’t interest you. You can perform a stereo system reset using the following procedures.
Contents
2019 – 2022 Models
- Turn your car on, but not the engine.
- Press and hold the reset button (it should be a tiny button) on the center console for approximately 30 seconds until the screen turns black.
2013 – 2018 Models
On your Hyundai, there are two screens: an edition screen and an engine screen
On the engine screen:
- Turn your car on, but not the engine.
- Turn the radio off.
- Find the reset button on the lower left side of the radio (this location might change depending on the model year).
- Use a pin or anything sharp and press inwards for about 30 seconds until it resets.
- The Hyundai logo will appear after about 10 minutes completing your reset.
2007 – 2012 Models
- Locate the reset button(it looks like a tiny pinhole) in the upper left corner.
- Use a pin or something with a pointed tip, like a paperclip, and stick it in for approximately 10 seconds.
If the above steps do not work, try these steps:
- Remove the audio system fuse. The fuses are located in the passenger compartment fuse box just below the trunk and fuel door release button.
- Wait a few minutes and push it back in.
- Your system is now reset.
