2019 – 2023 Models

1. Press the lock button on the remote key fob to lock the doors.
2. Within five seconds of locking the doors, press and hold the remote start button (usually indicated by a circular arrow) for a few seconds until the vehicle’s lights flash or the horn beeps, indicating that the engine has started.
3. The engine will continue to run for about 10 minutes. The climate control system will activate during this time to maintain the previous settings.
4. To turn off the engine while it’s running press the remote start button again.

2013 – 2018 Models

1. Press the lock button on the remote key fob to lock the doors.
2. Press and release the remote start button 2x within five seconds of locking the doors. 
3. The vehicle’s lights will flash, or the horn will beep to confirm that the engine has started.
4. The engine will run for a predetermined time (usually 10 minutes) with the climate control system activated.
5. To turn off the engine while it’s running, press the remote start button again.

NOTE: After using remote start twice in a row, you will need to cycle the ignition switch from on to off before you can use remote start again.

4. The 10-minute extension starts immediately after the first 10 minutes if applied. For example, if you extend the remote start after 5 minutes of initial run time, the engine will run for a total of 15 minutes.
