1997 – 2023 Models
- Connect a code scanner to the OBD2 port of the Toyota Prius. Check if any powertrain codes are saved on the vehicle’s computer. If none are found, proceed to the next step.
- Connect a jumper wire to the OBD2 port by inserting it into the fifth slot from the right on the top row and the fourth slot from the right on the bottom row of the OBD2 port.
- Turn on the vehicle to initiate the diagnostic check. You should see the diagnostic check running on the main screen.
- Check for multiple “OK” status reports displayed on the screen.
- Power off the vehicle after waiting for a few seconds.
- Remove the jumper wire from the OBD2 port.
- Power on the vehicle again and observe that the ABS light is no longer displayed.
