2007 – 2023 Models
- Use your OBDII scanner to clear any ABS codes.
- Connect the scanner to the OBDII port in your car and follow the scanner’s instructions to access the ABS system.
- Clear any stored codes.
Note: If you don’t have a diagnostic device, it may be possible to reset the ABS light in Altima by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
1993 – 2006 Models
- Locate the ABS diagnostic connector under the dashboard on the driver’s side.
- Insert a jumper wire into the diagnostic connector.
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
- Wait for the ABS light to turn off, then remove the jumper wire.
