How to Reset the Trip Mileage in a Hyundai Elantra

2010 – 2023 Models

  1. Turn the car on
  2. Locate and press the driving info display button on the steering wheel.
  3. On the speedometer display, look for the option that says “accumulated info” on the driving info display with details about trip A and trip B data.
  4. Press and hold the OK button; the trip A and B data will be reset to zero.
  5. After resetting, you can verify that the trip A and B data are now cleared.

2000 – 2009 Models

  1. The reset switch is under the right side of the speedometer on your dashboard. Look for a small button that allows you to access the multi-functional display mode.
  2. With the car ignition on and the display powered up, push the reset switch to activate the multi-functional display mode.
  3. Toggle through various information displays by repeatedly pressing the reset switch until you reach the trip meter display.
  4. To reset the trip mileage to zero, press and hold the reset switch for 2 seconds while the trip.
  5. The trip meter display should now read zero, indicating that the trip mileage has been successfully reset.
